Wider than the Sky is an experimental analogue photography project reflecting on the experience of living with ADHD. Using processes such as film soup, Polaroid emulsion lifts, and colour mordançage, I deliberately stress and destabilize the photographic surface, allowing chance and material reaction to reshape the image. The resulting cracks, distortions, and partial dissolutions echo a way of thinking that is fast, expansive, and difficult to contain. Rather than correcting these disruptions, the work embraces them as part of the image’s structure. Published as a single-edition artist book in 2026, Wider than the Sky invites viewers to slow down and consider how instability, attention, and perception shape both the image and the mind behind it.
